As the leading culinary institute, CIHI want to build a community of entrepreneurs, businesses and food lovers who are coming together to enjoy the thing we love most FOOD.
Cake Picnic Nairobi will be the first cake-themed events hosted in Kenya and soon to East Africa.
Here is how you participate:
31 May 2025 CAKE PICNIC
- Location in Kenya Nairobi (location will be advised)
- RSVP with 300ksh redeemable at the event
- No kids allowed.
- Each person has to come with a 2kg cake.
- Ticket will be available on the 1st of May

What is a cake picnic?
It’s a community of cake lovers,bakers and businesses where we come together to celebrate the thing we love most cake.
Can I come with friends?
You cake is your entry. Come with a 2kg cake that you have made or one you bought from the store.
Is 2kg cake enough if I’m coming with my friends and family?
Each persons entry is cake so all of you have to come with cake to be able to share with everyone else.
Can I take cake home?
Yes you can!! Each person will receive a cake box to sample all those cakes.
How can I know if the cake have any food allergens?
Each cake will have an ingredients note showing all the details.
How can we know is the cake is safe for consumption?
We have a detailed group for security that will check if any illegal substances are in the cake before allowing it in our table.
